Nilakkal is a famous Temple on the way to Sabarimala. The temple situated in the divine forest of Lord Ayyappa. The Deity here is Lord Siva. The Temple is a halting place of Sabarimala pilgrims. During Mandala festival season in Sabarimala the vehicle parking extends upto Nilakkal temple ground.
